Burmilana Wool Blend Burmilana is the brand name for Madeira's finely spun wool blend embroidery thread, 50% wool and 50% acrylic, perfect for punch needle embroidery and decorative stitching. Burmilana is a strong and thick thread (No.12) which fills designs quickly, with a warm and interesting texture. The high percentage wool content ensures embroidery will not pill. These single-strand, indivisible threads come in 30-yard, hand-wound skeins (all one piece for easier punching and less re-threading.)
